Sara Baras recibe la Medalla de Oro al Mérito de las Bellas Artes
Sara Baras ha sido galardonada con la Medalla de Oro al Mérito de las Bellas Artes 2020 en una ceremonia que ha tenido lugar hoy en el Auditorio Baluarte de Pamplona. El acto, que había sido pospuesto hasta ahora por la pandemia, ha sido presidido por Los Reyes Don Felipe y Doña Letizia.
Con este galardón, el Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte ha distinguido a 32 personalidades y entidades que han destacado en el campo de la creación artística y cultura o prestado notorios servicios en el fomento, desarrollo o difusión del arte y la cultura o en la conservación del patrimonio artístico. Hans Zimmer, Quique Dacosta, Manolo García, Antonio Resines o Pau Donés, a título póstumo, son sólo algunos de los prestigiosos nombres con los que Sara Baras ha compartido protagonismo durante el día de hoy.
Con este premio, la bailaora y coreógrafa Sara Baras engorda aún más su extenso currículum donde acumula otras distinciones como el Premio Nacional de Danza o el Olivier Award de Reino Unido, entre muchos otros.
Sara Baras awarded with the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts
Sara Baras has been awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2020 during a ceremony that took place today at the Baluarte Auditorium in Pamplona. The act, which had been postponed until today due to the pandemic, was chaired by Spain’s King and Queen Don Felipe and Doña Letizia.
With this award, the Spain’s Ministry of Culture and Sports has distinguished 32 personalities and entities that have stood out in the field of art, creation and culture or have provided notable services for the promotion, development or dissemination of art and culture and conservation of the artistic heritage. Hans Zimmer, Quique Dacosta, Manolo García, Antonio Resines or Pau Donés, posthumously, are just some of the prestigious names with which Sara has shared the terrain today.
With this award, the dancer and choreographer Sara Baras increases her extensive curriculum where she accumulates other distinctions such as the Spanish National Dance Award or the British Olivier Award, among many others.
